Dr. Paria Goodarzi, a native Californian, is a scientist at heart. Prior to focusing her skills on dentistry, she researched and developed cutting-edge biomedical technologies at some of the leading research institutions in the world, focusing on such technologies as a device for reanimation of atrophied muscles in stroke victims, and an early-detection system for ischemic events.

She graduated with Honors with a degree of Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego.  She subsequently earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry.  Following dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency at New York-Presbyterian/Queens hospital.

Dr. Goodarzi's vision is to bring to bear her engineering experience in the field of dentistry -- staying at the forefront of technology to maximize patient comfort and outcomes.
